This brooch was made from a drawing of Jean Cocteau, a famous French poet, writer and designer, in 1964. It is the Mistigri Brooch by Hermès. Mistigri is a French name for a cat. The brooch is fully made in 18kt yellow gold. The eyes are in marquise cut emeralds. It is marked with the French eagle’s head, the signature and numbered at the back. It is in very good vintage condition.
