Antique Etruscan Revival Star Sapphire Ring

This unique ring is from the early 19th century, circa 1830. It is from the Etruscan revival period. The Etruscans are known for their millegrain and filigree gold technics. This ring is fully made in 16kt yellow gold (tested) and it is adorned with a star sapphire. The star is revealed under incandescent light. The shoulders are set with cabochon cut ruby and pink quartz. There is a very small lack of gold under a prong however the ring is in very good antique condition for this period. According to the former owner the ring belonged to the famous French actress Suzanne Charpentier from the Thirties, also known as Annabella.
This ring can be resized if needed (don’t hesitate to enquire).
