This pair of earrings from the Victorian era is made in 18kt rose gold and silver. They are set with 4 pastes. Paste gemstone is a synonym for glass used as a diamond imitation in jewellery. The earrings are controlled with the French eagle’s head for 18kt gold. We call it Dormeuses because women used to sleep with them.
