This beautiful bracelet is a real testimony of the Art Nouveau period : it is made in 18kt gold and platinum. It features 9 plaques with a nice design. Each plaque is adorned with 4 ivy leaves and set in the center with a round ruby. Ivy is an evergreen plant, it represents eternity, fidelity, and strong affectionate attachment, such as wedded love and friendship. . The plaques are interspersed with links aset with 2 rose cut diamonds on platinum. The clasp was finely concealed. It is a timeless design and very easy to wear everyday. The clasp was fully hallmarked with the rhinoceros and the eagle’s head. It was also tested as 18kt gold and platinum. It weighs 27,5 gr and it measures 6cm of diameter. The links are 1,9cm x 1,3cm. The bracelet is secured with a chain.
It was made during the Art Nouveau period, in the very beginning of the 20th Century. Art Nouveau is an artistic movement applied to the decorative arts, featured with a predominant theme : the free flowing line. Artists tried to find movement into woman’s hair, feminine curve and naturalist images.
