This ravishing medal is made in 18kt yellow gold. It features the profile of a beautiful young veiled woman looking to the left. She is surrounded with seed pearls. We can see the signature on the left side: E. Dropsy (1848 – 1923) a French medallist. He is considered today as the religious medallist with the purest design. It is controlled with the French eagle’s head.

This heptagon medal was made in the early 20th century, circa 1920. It features St Georges slaying the Dragon. It is written Sanctus Georgius. It is signed G Rabier on the bottom. Gaston Rabier was a medallist in Paris circa 1920.
The back depicts a knight’s helmet with a sword and laurels leaves. It is written in latin Eques Equitum which means the knight. There is the cypher of the maker GR and a plain gold tag where a name or a date can be engraved.
