This stunning ring is raivishing. It is very airy and refined. It is made in 18kt gold and platinum. It is a Marquess ring : its name comes from the smile of the Marquise de Pompadour, the mistress of the French king Louis XV who offered her a ring of the same shape of her delicate smile. This ring features in its center an old European cut diamond of 0,30ct app surrounded with diamonds, set into a millegrain setting.
.The shoulders are also adorned with diamonds. The prongs of the central diamond are in 18kt gold and it was restored with 18kt gold otherwise the ring is in platinum.

The ring weighs 2,8gr and its size 55 / 7. It measures 22.38 (0.8) x 19,36 (0,7) x 19,4(0,7) mm (inch) It is in good condition. It was not marked but it was tested as 18kt gold and platinum. It was made at the very beginning of the 20th Century. If you are a lover of antique jewelry, this ring is a must have in your jewelry box.
