This beautiful ring is from the Art Nouveau period. It is adorned with a jadeite jade in its centre, surrounded with 28 rose cut diamonds. The shoulders of the ring have been nicely cut out into gold with flowers and leaves motifs. The diamonds are set in platinum and the mount is in 18kt gold (tested). It is signed ABeaudouin inside the ring, a renowned jeweller from the Art Nouveau period.

This medal is from the Art Nouveau period in France circa 1900. It features Saint Georges slaying the Dragon. On the verso we can see the representation of a passage of the Bible: Mark 4, 35-41.
The scene takes place on a boat. The apostles are frightened by the storm and the Christ is asleep. The verse in Latin is written all around the sailboat: In Tempestate Securitas, which means: “security in the storm”. There is also the name of Louis and a date 3 mai 1923. The medal is adorned with a beautiful 18k openwork gold crown with flowers and leaves details. The pendant is marked with the French eagle’s head. The centrepiece is made in 18k yellow solid gold and the crown in 18k rose gold.
It is also signed Boivin on the left side and the maker’s mark on the hinge is the one of the jeweller Georges Mauboussin. It is controlled with the French eagle’s head for 18k gold.

This beautiful square shape medal, from the Art Nouveau period, is made in 18kt yellow gold with Plique à jour navy blue and green enamel. It features the profile a young saint looking to the left. The corners are nicely adorned with pearls. We can see the signature Monier on the bottom right. Emile Monier (1874-1940) was a French sculptor and medallist, who exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français. He received the Médaille d’Honneur in 1948. The enamel is in very good condition. The back is engraved with the name Françoise and the date 26 Juillet 1924.

A gorgeous Lion head ring. This one was perfectly handcrafted into a Lion head. It has a strong design. It depicts a regal lion with flowing mane in exceptional detail. It holds in his jaws an old mine cut diamond weighing around 0.20ct. The ring is very good antique condition. It was made during the Art Nouveau period. It seems that the feline goes out of the bush : actually we can distinguish reeds carved on each shoulders. Very bright!
The lion is symbolic of courage, power, dignity, justice and wisdom. Art Nouveau is an artistic movement applied to the decorative arts, featured with a predominant theme : the free flowing line. Artists tried to find movement into woman's hair, feminine curve, nature.
The ring weighs 13,1gr and it is a size 60 / 9,25. It is easily resizable, feel free to ask we will be happy to do it for you (included into the price). The ring measures26,6(1,04) x 23,70 (0,93)x 15,85(0,62) mm (inch). It was controlled with the French eagle's head.

This ravishing pin brooch features a classy penguin made in 18kt gold, mother of pearl and painted in black and red enamel. The eyes are made with 2 cabochon cut sapphires. It is in excellent condition. This pin brooch could be wear everyday, it is a funny and elegant touch. It weighs 7,5gr and measures 31,41 (1,2') x 14,1 (0,6) x 10,3 (0,4) mm. It was marked three times with the famous eagle's head, the French hallmark for 18kt yellow gold. On the back off one foot, we can see properly the maker's mark : a J / a lobster / R. It belongs to the French Parisian jeweller Rosseels et Cie.

This very refined French necklace features 12 festoon adorned with seed pearls and turquoises. It presents 6 mains festoones beautifully handcrafted and doubled with others festoons . Each links is set with genuine turquoises and adorned with seed pearls. The turquoises have a very nice color and they are 3.87 mm of diameter and the pearls 2.8 mm of diameter.
In France, we call this kind of necklace : "collier draperie" because you can wear it as a piece of clothes and it drapes outstandingly your neck. It is in excellent condition for this period : circa 1880.
Weight :9,2 gr Measurements :42cm long (16,53 inches). It is secured with a security chain and clasp. it was controlled with the French eagle's head. There is also the maker's mark but it is illegible.It is in good antique condition. It is very easy to wear with a little black dress or simply with a shirt.
Pearl symbolises purity and innocence; they are usually worn by the bride for her wedding. The legend said that pearls are the tear-drops from the moon, fallen in the sea. This is the only birthstone which as5 months of the year : February, April, June (traditional) and November. Turquoises symbolises hope, courage and self confidence. It also helps to keep friendship alive.
