This beautiful ring is set with 29 old mine and rose cut diamonds. The ring is made in 18kt yellow gold and platinum (tested). The total diamond carat weight is around 1.30ct. It has a pretty and elegant design in the shape of a marquise. The name comes from the smile of the Marquise de Pompadour, the mistress of the French king Louis XV who offered her a ring of the same shape of her delicate smile. The ring is marked with the horse’s head, the 18kt gold assay mark used in France between 1838 and 1911.
