This ravishing pin brooch features a classy penguin made in 18kt gold, mother of pearl and painted in black and red enamel. The eyes are made with 2 cabochon cut sapphires. It is in excellent condition. This pin brooch could be wear everyday, it is a funny and elegant touch. It weighs 7,5gr and measures 31,41 (1,2′) x 14,1 (0,6) x 10,3 (0,4) mm. It was marked three times with the famous eagle’s head, the French hallmark for 18kt yellow gold. On the back off one foot, we can see properly the maker’s mark : a J / a lobster / R. It belongs to the French Parisian jeweller Rosseels et Cie.
