Art Deco Diamonds & Sapphires Pendant

Heritagem presents: This beautiful set comprises a pair of earrings and a pendant with its chain. It depicts doves and they are adorned with turquoises and seed pearls. The head of the pendant is moving gently from the left to the right. The set comes directly from the Victorian era, circa 1880 and it is in very good antique condition. Turquoises symbolize hope, courage and self-confidence. There is an approximate total carat weight of 3.50ct. It is marked with the French eagle’s head for 18kt gold and with the mark of the jeweller Paturzo (Nice, France). It is from the Seventies. This lovely medal features the profile of a praying young woman, probably the Virgin Mary or a Saint. The medal has beautiful scrollwork with flowery details. It is framed with blue enamel. The back was nicely engraved with the name Annie and a date 10/7/46, a birth date, a christening or 1st communion date. Religious medals are used to be gifted for a special occasion and it accompanies the person during their whole life. It is also enhanced with 2 bigger diamonds in the middle. The emeralds are 0.50ct approximately each (tcw : 1ct ) and there is a total carat weight of 1,40ct for the diamonds (color H / clarity VS). The ring is made in 18kt white gold. Emerald is linked with hope and harmony. It symbolises the nature and the renascence of life. Heritagem presents :   An original black diamonds ring. This one is made in 18kt black gold and it is entirely paved with brilliant cut black diamonds. It has a strong modern design. It was made by the designer JOC. The back of the marble was engraved with the signature JOC and with the weight of the diamonds : 4.20ct. The shoulders of the ring was engraved with the name Amanda. This ring is sparkly and very original.

We can see the signature on the left side: E. Dropsy (1848 – 1923) a French medallist. He is considered today as the religious medallist with the purest design.
