French Art Nouveau Draperie Necklace

This lovely French necklace features 5 plaques decorated with roses, flowers and leaves.

The necklace was extremely well hand crafted in France, since we have the French mark of the eagle’s head for 18kt yellow gold on the clasp. We call this kind of necklace : “collier draperie” because you can wear it as a piece of clothes and it drapes outstandingly your neck. It is in very condition for this period circa 1905. It is controlled with the French eagle’s head and we can also see the maker’s mark : L / . / B

Weight : 10,1 gr Measurements :40cm long (5 1inches). The larger plaque is 3 cm long and the smallers are 2cm long.
