French 18 karat yellow gold Retro bracelet from circa. 1940 with a distinct ” Machine Age ” design. The outer elements of the 8 flexible links on this bracelet are finely hand crafted as a kite with the center elements resembling pyramidal slanted steps. The design resembles an escalator, a popular design of the era. The high polish of the gold make for a wonderful play of light and shadow and give this piece of jewellery a real 2 dimensional look. The bracelet measures 20cm long and 2,4cm wide.
