This ring is just lovely. The design comes directly from the Victorian era, circa 1880. It features a creamy pearl set on 18kt yellow gold and surrounded with 10 old European cut diamonds (total weighing approximatey 0,60ct). The overall is in very good condition for jewels from this time. It is not marked but it was tested as 18kt gold. The pearl is 5,75 x 5,53 mm of diameter.
Pearl symbolises purity and innocence; they are usually wear by the bride for her wedding. The legend said that pearls are the tear-drops of the moon, fell in the sea. This is the only birthstone which have 5 months of the year : February, April, June (traditional) and November. That’s why this ring is the perfect gift for the one you want to reveal your sincerity. It is in good condition and was gold tested as 18kt gold.
