Vintage Bird on a Branch Gold Brooch

This lovely brooch features a realistic bird on a branch. The head is adorned with a pearl with a ruby for the eye. The neck is enhanced with 5 turquoises; the feathers are adorned with cabochon-cut rubies and sapphires. It is marked with the French eagle’s head and with the maker’s mark. The brooch is from the Sixties and it is in very good condition.
