This beautiful necklace is made in 18kt yellow gold. It features a scarab in the centre, shouldered with wings. They are nicely enhanced with lapis lazuli. The lapis on the right has tiny chips, otherwise it is in very good vintage condition. The scarab is the symbol of eternal life and of the nature’s renewal. The lapis lazuli was considered as a representation of the starry night. It is marked with Egyptian hallmark for 18k gold.
