This lovely medal features the profile of a praying young woman, probably the Virgin Mary or a Saint. The medal has beautiful scrollwork with flowery details. It is framed with blue enamel. The back was nicely engraved with the name Annie and a date 10/7/46, a birth date, a christening or 1st communion date. Religious medals are used to be gifted for a special occasion and it accompanies the person during their whole life. This one is in good condition.

This heptagon medal was made in the early 20th century, circa 1920. It features St Georges slaying the Dragon. It is written Sanctus Georgius. It is signed G Rabier on the bottom. Gaston Rabier was a medallist in Paris circa 1920.
The back depicts a knight’s helmet with a sword and laurels leaves. It is written in latin Eques Equitum which means the knight. There is the cypher of the maker GR and a plain gold tag where a name or a date can be engraved.

The initial CF are visible on the left. On the right, we can see a signature B Bigard. It was made during the Art Nouveau period. This brooch is from the Victorian era. It was made in France during the end of the 19th century, circa 1880. It is made in 18kt gold and silver, adorned with pearls. It has a very nice design with scrollwork, gold beads and volutes. The pearl on the bottom is dangling. The pendant could be also worn as a pendant thanks to the hood on the back. It has been controlled twice with the French hallmarks: the eagle’s head. There is also the maker’s mark on the pin. The brooch has some traces of patina and it is in very good antique condition.

This brooch comes directly from the mid 19th century. It was made in France circa 1860 under the reign of Napoleon III (1852-1870). It is adorned with pearls and enamel. It has a very nice design. It can be worn as a pendant or as a brooch. It is made in 18kt yellow and rose gold. There is black enamel around the central pearl (one tiny chip on the side)It is controlled with the French hallmark: the horse’s head, used in France between 1838 and 1911.
