Early Victorian Diamonds Dormeuses Earrings
£975.00
Heritagem presents:
These very refined earrings are made in 18kt yellow gold and silver (tested). These have a beautiful flowery design. They are adorned with a rose cut diamond in the centre and on the top. We call this kind of earrings Dormeuses because women used to sleep with them how they are delightful to wear. These are from the middle of the 19th century circa 1850 and they are in very good condition for this time. They are marked with the horse’s head, the hallmark for 18kt gold used in France between 1838 and 1911.
All our items comes with either a gemmological report or a jewellery report with circa and all useful information.
