French Art Nouveau Rubies & Pearl Ring

This lovely ring was made at the very beginning of the 20th century, during the Art Nouveau period. It is made in 18kt yellow gold. It is adorned with a cultured pearl, 2 rubies and with diamonds. The design is absolutely ravishing. The 2 rubies on each side of the central diamond are around 0,10ct each. The loop is set with 10 lively diamonds. The ring was perfectly handcrafted, and it has a refined millegrain setting.
It weighs 4,3 gr and it sizes 53,5 / 6,5. It could be easily resizable, feel free to ask we will be happy to do it for you (included into the price). It measures 23,8 (0,93) x 20.4 (0,80) x 18,8 (0,74). The ring bears the eagle’s head, the French mark for 18kt gold. We can see the maker’s mark.
It was made during the Art Nouveau period, in the very beginning of the 20th Century. Art Nouveau is an artistic movement applied to the decorative arts, featured with a predominant theme : the free flowing line. Artists tried to find movement into woman’s hair, feminine curve, nature.
