Art Nouveau Sapphire Diamonds Ring

Heritagem presents :
This lovely ring was made at the very beginning of the 20th century, during the Art Nouveau period. It is made in 18kt yellow gold and platinum. It is adorned with a pear shape natural sapphire and with diamonds. The design is absolutely ravishing, it was probably inspired by the infinity symbol, for the eternal love. The 2 diamonds on each side of the sapphire are around 0,10ct each. The loop is set with 10 sparkling diamonds and the shoulders by 3 diamonds. The ring was perfectly handcrafted, and it has a refined millegrain setting.
It weighs 2,8gr and it sizes 54,5 / 7. It could be easily resizable, feel free to ask we will be happy to do it for you (included into the price).
It measures 23,21 (0,9) x 19,79 (0,77) x 16 (0,63). The ring bears the eagle’s head, the French mark for 18kt gold, it was also tested platinum. We can see the maker’s mark : F / a scale / L.
It was made during the Art Nouveau period, in the very beginning of the 20th Century. Art Nouveau is an artistic movement applied to the decorative arts, featured with a predominant theme : the free flowing line. Artists tried to find movement into woman’s hair, feminine curve, nature.
